Jonathan Roberts is the Senior HIV Testing Coordinator at Brighton’s Sexual Health and Contraceptive Service (SHAC). Jonathan has been instrumental in leading the implementation of opt-out HIV testing in the Accident & Emergency (A&E) department, significantly increasing early HIV diagnoses and improving patient outcomes. He also plays a key role in advancing injectable HIV medication treatments, offering patients an innovative, long-acting alternative to daily oral therapies.
Jonathan is actively involved in the National HIV Nurses Association (NHIVNA) and frequently presents his work at major conferences, including BHIVA (British HIV Association) and BASHH (British Association for Sexual Health and HIV). His presentations focus on HIV testing strategies, partner notification, and the integration of injectable HIV therapies into clinical practice. He is dedicated to improving HIV care through research, education, and innovative approaches to HIV prevention and management.
