Referrals to SHAC services

SHAC Outreach Nursing Team – for adults & young people

The outreach nursing team offers a range of clinical services for vulnerable people who would not ordinarily access sexual health & contraceptive services. Clients can be referred by any professional in Brighton & Hove and they will be contacted to discuss their individual needs with a view to support them to access clinic in the future.

Outreach for young people

We offer visits to clients who are unable to attend alone or with a parent or guardian, with a view to supporting their eventual attendance at a clinic. For many young people, accessing traditional health services can be challenging especially when confidentiality is an area of concern to them, or when other social, family and health needs make attending clinic difficult. We accept referrals from professionals for clients under the age of 18 with increased vulnerabilities.
