Outreach services for young people
We offer visits to clients unable to attend alone or with a parent or guardian, to support their eventual attendance at a clinic. For many young people, accessing traditional health services can be challenging especially when confidentiality is an area of concern to them, or when other social, family and health needs make attending clinic difficult. We accept referrals from professionals for clients under the age of 18 with increased vulnerabilities.
Services we offer include:
- Contraception Choices discussion
- STI risk discussion
- Pregnancy testing
- Pregnancy discussion- options
- Emergency contraception
- Follow up oral hormonal contraception
- LARC – Implant insertion & depo injectable
- STI screening
- Vaccination
- C Card registration, discussion & condom demonstration
- Condom provision
- HIV Point of Care testing
