When can I book my smear test?
All women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 64 are included in the national cervical screening program. If you have a cervix, you should receive a letter inviting you to make an appointment at least every 3 years. If you haven’t received your letter, we recommend that you contact your GP.
You will only be able to have a smear test if it is due.
Booking your smear test
We offer a limited number of routine cervical smear tests in our smear clinics on Thursday mornings at SHAC East. This clinic is only for cervical smears and it is not possible to address other contraception and sexual health issues during these appointments – for this you will need to book a separate appointment. Please call us on 01273 523 388 or book an appointment online.
