Before you start
There are a few things to consider before you order your test to make sure using this home testing service is right for you. If you are ordering from us for the first time please read about how ordering a test works.
When should I test?
Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) take different amounts of time to show up on a test. Make sure you are testing out of the window period.
Who should test?
Order a test if you want a regular checkup and don’t have any symptoms of a sexually transmitted infection.
You cannot order a test for someone else. We are a free and confidential NHS service, all patient records must be kept separate. Use your details when registering so we can contact you with your results. We cannot send your results to someone else’s number or email.
Other ways to get help
If any of the following apply, you can still test, but please call 01273 523 388 first. All calls are confidential. Staff are here to help and discuss your needs:
- If you are under 16
- If you have symptoms of an STI
- If you have had unprotected sex in the last 72 hours and are not taking PrEP or HIV medication
- If you have been sexually assaulted in the last 14 days
- If you are out of area for this service
