What other services are available for young people at Brighton and Hove SHAC?
Our SHAC West clinic is for people under 25 and offers a range of sexual health services and contraception options.
The C-Card scheme offers young people access to free condoms and lube from over 90 different locations around the city by downloading the Brighton and Hove C-Card app to their phone. Use the interactive map in the app to find the closest and most convenient site to collect free condoms from.
All C-Card sites that provide free condoms also offer free chlamydia & gonorrhoea self-test kits for people under the age of 25. These can be taken away to be completed wherever is most comfortable, and are returned via freepost for testing.
The app also provides information on which pharmacies provide free emergency hormonal contraception (also known as “the morning-after pill”) for people under the age of 25, and where to find them.
