LGBT support available in Brighton and Hove

  • Navigate is a group for transgender men, trans masculine people, genderqueer people, non-binary people, those assigned intersex and/or female at birth that fit somewhere else on or off the spectrum or those who are questioning their gender identity
  • MindOut is a mental health service run by and for lesbians, gay men, bisexual, trans, and queer people
  • LGBT Switchboard can support you to make informed choices about sex and help you to stay healthy and happy by providing you with up-to-date information and confidential listening support. They also have a dedicated helpline which offers support to trans people including those who are non-binary and questioning who have experienced sexual violence at any point in their lifetime
  • Allsorts Youth Project listens to, supports & connects children & young people (age 5 – 25) who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or unsure (LGBTU) of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity
  • Clare Project: Self-supporting group open to anyone wishing to explore issues around gender identity

  • Clinic T – sexual health clinic for anyone who identifies as trans, non-binary or gender variant
  • Clinic M – sexual health service specifically for gay and bisexual men
  • If you can’t get to clinic, and you don’t have any symptoms, why not try our STI home testing service or visit one of our eight vending machine sites across the city
